A veteran investment banker with over 36 years of experience (out of box strategies) in corporate finance, mergers and acquisition, IPO’s and structured finance. In June 2013, he was listed in the Forbes ME Magazine as one amongst the “Top 100 Indian Leaders in UAE” and in October 2013 was ranked by Arabian Business as one of Gulfs’ Most Powerful Indians. More recently, Mr. Pankaj Agrawal figured in the Forbes Middle East as Top Indian Leaders in the Arab world 2014.
Mr. Agrawal established Signature in 2005 with a focus on backing entrepreneurs and companies in emerging economies at the growth stage of their development with complete active involvement in assisting such companies to achieve operational excellence, revenue growth and market share.
Agrawal has advised over US$ 3 billion worth of transactions worldwide, thereby guiding Signature to become a trusted Strategic and Growth Capital Partner. Mr. Agrawal is acknowledged for his expertise in addressing financial and investment needs of companies, distressed by capital markets and well recognized for his integrity and insight in developing and executing innovative structured financial products. Pankaj has developed a sound understanding of a variety of sectors and their bearing on the local and international business environment.
A marketing and sales professional with over 33 years of expertise (out of the box tactics) in trade and distribution business, catering raw materials to the rubber, inks, coatings, and plastic sectors. He has associated with many leading manufacturing companies to distribute their products to accessible territory.
Mr. Krishnan began his career in the rubber sector as a sales professional in January 1990, he oversaw the Chennai territory at the time, but within a year, his responsibilities had expanded to include other South Indian states.
He established himself in the sale of other industrial raw materials to the inks, coatings, and plastics industries, with a focus on sales and companies in emerging economies at the growth stage of their development, with full active participation in assisting such companies to achieve operational excellence, revenue growth, and market share. He has attended numerous industry-related conferences and exhibitions in both domestic and international regions, gaining technological and commercial knowledge to apply in the organization. In 2015, he took over the responsibilities of handling East India customers by supplying raw materials from the manufacturers. In 2021, he took over additional responsibilities of handling the West India Market. He has developed a lot of supplier channel partners to work with the organization.
With over 27 years of experience in Technical Service to the Rubber Industry, he is a renowned Rubber Technologist in the field. His expertise lies in the development and positioning of various raw materials used in the rubber industry.
Furthermore, he plays a crucial role in developing the Technical requirements of customers, guiding them to meet their product specifications by utilising the appropriate products and technologies for rubber product manufacturing.
He also excels in troubleshooting production and processing issues related to rubber products, Additionally, he actively participates in the evaluation and characterisation studies of raw materials utilized in the industry.
Moreover, he dedicates himself to educate and train industrial professionals, enhancing their knowledge in rubber compounding, testing, and troubleshooting for their day-to-day operational needs. This knowledge empowers them to streamline their production processes and deliver high-quality products, which helps them to make their products meet the international standards. He heads the Rubber Testing Laboratory of his organisation.
Mita has 20 years of Corporate Finance experience. She has worked with L&T, Morgan Stanley, Essar Group (AMW), RPG Group (KEC International Ltd.) and boutique Investment Banks like Equirus Capital and Safire Capital. In her last stint with KEC International she has headed the Investor Relations desk working closely with Foreign and Domestic Research Houses, Institutional Investors and Analyst community.
She has single handedly closed the sale of KEC’s Bikaner Sikar Transmission Line to Adani Transmission for which she was awarded the prestigious RPG Top Gear Award.
She has also handled a consortium of 21 foreign and domestic banks with a working capital limit of Rs 18,500 Crs for KEC being a part of their Finance team. Mita has worked across Investor Relations, M&A, Banking & Finance while on Corporate side and Private Equity fund raising, M&A etc. while in Investment Banking. She holds a Chartered Accountants degree from ICAI and is a B.Com graduate from Mumbai University.
Besky Paul Christopher, graduated in Masters of Business Administration, has garnered over two decades of experience in accounts and finance in industries such as Telecom, Cement Manufacturing and Chemical Distribution.
He has mastered the art of accounting and developed expertise in diverse areas including statutory and tax audits, internal control audits, inventory management, budgeting, preparation of various MIS reports, risk management, statutory compliances.
He is erudite in multiple laws of land that bounds an entity especially the Income Tax Act, 1961, the Goods and Services Tax Law, 2017, the Companies Act, 2013. He is keen eyed for ensuring compliances including filing of returns and payment of taxes, and consequently mitigates undue interventions from regulatory authorities.
Over the course of years heading the accounts and finance, he has advised the management when the Company slid into tight situations and steered it safely.
Though deeply entrenched in finance, he also has a knack to understand the core business operations and identify the specific product the entity’s repertoire that will generate profits.
His natural entrepreneurial skills were further honed by his leadership in accounts and finance and being always in the vicinity to the top tier management of the Company.
